New Videos!!!

The newest Chappy's Outdoors videos will be rapidly appearing on the YouTube Channel. Go to the "Videos" tab of the menu bar on this site and click on our YouTube Logo's link to view the newest videos.
As of today...6 Nov 2011, we have just added the latest one: The 4th Annual Lake Anna Wounded Veteran's Fall Bass Classic! What an event! Hope you enjoy the video.
The Catfish Nation event on 8 October video is also complete. However, currently it is experiencing technical difficulties in the uploading portion of YouTube. Look to see it added in another day or two.
Lastly, the LEEK videos are already in the process of being completed. I say "videos" because we simply did far too many wonderful trips during that short amount of time there to condense it into one 15 minute video....though I'll try! I believe the end result will be several different hunts, interviews, and other portions. What a trip and what a place to visit! I can't wait to return for another opportunity to film such events in truly God's Country!

We have now "re-vamped" the site once again!
1 - We are up and running on the website applications. This one section of the site has brought in more than 20 different applicants over the past month alone! Thank you for your interest...it is our goal to ensure every applicant receives at least one trip through our efforts!
2 - Our Staff page has been updated once again. Our newest selection for the position, VP of Operations, was an obvious choice...welcome Brad Garfield to the team! He brings an extensive amount of experience and connections to continue to conduct, coordinate, and arrange these trips for our Veterans.
Also, we welcome Ken Kirk as our Fishing Events Director. His extensive experience and connection in the fishing industry will greatly support our Veterans as they venture onto the water!
I count both as friends and mentors. Their vast amount of experience in their fields is surpassed only by their love for God and our Veterans.
3 - We now have a new page for the pictures received from JoeBuck's Outdoors, our Southeast Ohio location!! For those interested in attending this location...I think you'll want to check out last week's four bucks harvested!! This location is truly a great one...enjoy!

Fall Bass Classic at Lake Anna!!

Well, I am still amazed at how awesome the Lake Anna community supported and rallied around our greatest Fall Bass Classic ever! It wasn't the amount of fish caught. It wasn't the amount of Warriors or Boats out on the water. The crowd turned out to support nearly 50 Warriors as they took to the water early Saturday morning, 17 September in hopes to land some lunker bass! The weather made the morning cooler than usual, but the warmth of the community's reception quickly made up for that. The day finished with a great meal provided by the Elks Lodge supported by Mobile Tunes DJ and Ken Kirk's amazing personality behind the mic running the weigh-ins while Angie Kirk kept track of the numbers. The top twenty Warriors won a hunting trip with Mattaponi Hunt Club in VA. Two Warrios were awarded a hunting trip to Southeast Ohio. It was after these two received the trip that the community showed their genuine love and support by raising over $800 to support these two on this trip! What an awesome event! Can't wait to see these twenty-two Warriors on the two hunts this fall....what a tournament, what a season so far!! Such support of a community for our Troops is simply life-changing!
Busiest Season Yet!!!

Hello everyone! I appreciate all the comments, applications, and feedback we've been receiving here at Chappy's Outdoors. Word has apparently been spreading quickly about the organization. We are averaging far more site visits per week than we ever have in the past!
This season proves to be the busiest we've ever had. If dreams were able to come true, "Chappy" would be present at every event....however, that's why I'm so blessed to have the staff that we have on board. Our staff will assist with coordination and attendance at more events than I could have ever hoped to achieve alone! Still, I will be present at as many events as possible and hope to see you in attendance with us this upcoming fall season of hunting! I'd love to see you in attendance at one of our fall events...so don't hesitate to fill out an application form today!

LOTS of website updates recently! Check out the Event Calendar because we are currently undergoing our busiest schedule EVER!! If you cannot get on a trip with us in the near future, I'd certainly be surprised. More trips than what we've shown are "in the works" as well. Our staff has begun to take shape. You can view them under the "contact us" section. Applications for trips are now being received through the "contact" section. Our videos are currently being uploaded to YouTube...go to the "videos" page and find the link to our YouTube Channel...all Chappy's Outdoors...all the time!!

Trip Report Updated!!

Check out our trip report for the latest news on the recent Veteran's Hunt held at the TF3 Ranch. We look forward to many future trips with the Friemann family at their ranch. We also covet your prayers for continued healing upon their family member, Tommy, who is still recovering in the hospital.
